I attended Lake Dallas High School from 2009-2012. I started my college career in Arkansas at University of the Ozarks, and finished strong as a Bearcat in 2018 at Sam Houston State University.
I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Communications with a minor in Business. After I earned my Bachelor’s degree from SHSU, I earned my teacher’s license through Texas Teachers and I am certified in K-6. I am currently working on getting my certification in Gifted and Talented, Special Education, and ESL as well.
After I graduated from Sam Houston State University, I got a job in the oil and gas industry. I quickly realized that numbers were NOT for me, and I pursued what I knew I always wanted to do, teaching. I ended up at Richter because a very kind employee of the school gave a recommendation for me, and I was able to fill in as the new Kindergarten teacher last year for the 2019-2020 school year. I loved the school so much that I decided to come back this year and teach kindergarten once more and I look forward to it!
I have been happily married for two and a half years to my husband Daniel. We got married in March of 2018. As of now we do not have any human children, but we do have two fur babies that we love dearly.
I absolutely love crafting and art work. I have a cricut that I use for just about everything. I also enjoy painting and drawing to relax me. I have two dogs, Maximus and Wrigley. My husband Daniel and I spend as much time outside with them as we can. I love to swim, hike, and soak up the sun!
