Reading Homework:
Each week students will be given a homework packet that will have some kind of reading assignment to complete each week.  It will be sent home on Monday and will need to be turned in no later than Friday.  There will be a reading log for parents/guardians to sign letting me know that students did read to you at home.

Spelling Homework:
Your child will be getting a take home folder the first week of school. In this folder you will have students homework for the week, spelling words, as well and any daily work completed each day.  Students will have 20 spelling words that they will need to study and spelling tests will be on Friday.  On the homework sheet you will be given a list of ideas to help students study their words.  I also use the Spelling City app in my classroom and you can use it as well at home.  Please look for more information on how to sign up.
